“Cult” and the cartoon adendum

Happy New Year everyone! since I haven’t had this blog be very active i am pretty much talking to myself ,m but when you do read this then this message is straight ass going to you. Can you get a greasy whiff of my first Resolution…yep write. Hank Moody from Californication said it best “Being a writer blows. It’s like having homework every day for the rest of your life.”. So bring on the homework Mo Fo’s. I have been lining up a bunch of the best blogs out there for my interests which is like a big fruitcake this holiday. Except it doesn’t taste like shit. One of the things i landed upon in the while swimming in the cyberpools was a mysterio little band called “CULTS”. They are a retro-tween-pop group I believe i first head on Adult Swim in which i am addicted to even when the programming stinks and is overkilled by Family Guy,American Dad, and King of the Hill like non-stop right now.. but i digress. This band doesn’t draw out the synthy pop stuff as much as the great basslines and little diddy’t they whip up. Give them a listen I think your going to hear alot from these guys. They only have 3 songs released no album just yet, but even the 3rd one “Curse” is already very different then the other 2 and feels like something you would hear in a Tarantino film, so maybe I will nab it before he does!
