ahhh the end is near and you should be shitting your mayan boots right now..what ever will we do once the world ends at the end of december. how convenient that my people the Mayans stragetized the end of humanity right after the hallmark holiday hoedown. I would pay to see how many people are scared of this and they should find each other and do some sort of Heaven’s gate thing but with more colored indian corn involved.
It is a time of transitions more so than most years for many of us so i think there is merit there. Now it’s time to shed that baby smooth snake skin of yours and take chances and be more authentic. There is alot of times that I see myself wearing the mask of my career instead of just being while engrossed in my career. Letting your “status” make the decision instead of YOU making the decision. You know when people do it when they see something funny for instance and hold in the laughter because they are a “PRODUCER” or “SERIOUS ACTOR” or blah blah blah. The mask can not be the decision maker man that shit is bullshit. Heart Broke is a Sundance aimed romantic comedy about AVA and SOPHIA destined to be married after 7 years together. AVA is a latin boy 1st generation American and SOPHIA is a Jewish Princess, both parents fought hard to get to America and refuse to honor this wedding or pay for it. Both parents disown the lovers. Wedding invitations have been made and AVA and SOPHIA are losing faith, fighting,pointing blame, and are both ridicously broke to afford to do a real wedding which they both want.
The Wedding is off and they both slide into various stages of depression,debauchery,gluttony, and the whole bag of tricks. Both have a group of friends who all have a long past together in this small circle known as Los Angeleno’s. The friends have a skeleton closet full of past together and some refuse to ever speak to each other. No matter what arguments they have had in the past no one can deny that if these 2 people don’t marry and fall in love there is no hope in this world of IT’S complicated Status’s, 3 month L.A. Bf/Gf’s, Hipster casualness, and all the other dating traps. The friends all get together and agree that even though they are all struggling and broke as fuck they are going to do whatever it takes to throw these 2 a Wedding, Bachelor party, and Bridal Shower.
The film is in the vain of charming fast wit smart films such as (ANNIE HALL,JUNO,LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE,CELESE AND JESSE FOREVER) and will be shot using the best no name comedians,actors,musicians,artists L.A. has to offer. No budget film making but with A-list level hook-ups. We already have committed RED EPIC,ALEXA,GRIP,LIGHTING,REMOTE CONTROL HELICOPTERS FOR AERIEL SHOTS,JIBS,STEADICAM, EDITING BAYS for the film
After 2 years just finished the post apocalyptic sci-fi Feature Screenplay “Lost Hemispheres”! A man accidentally kills someone during a bar brawl and hides from the cops in his best friend a scientist’s cryo freeze chamber only to wake up to find 90% of the world is suffering a strange and rapid case of a Alzheimer’s virus. He teams up with four odd allies to find a cure and escape a devouring force of beasts known as the four horsemen.
Schoolhouse Pictures will produce and make a graphic novel.
Recently produced alongside Ashley Avis and her company Alchemy Pictures thru Fear.net/Lionsgate a new pilot “WATCH ME/GAURDIAN” with some amazing actors Ashely Avis,Olivia Dawn York,Dana Rosendorff,Issac Shingleton jr, and a special guest from Heroes.
